"Nothing in music carries quite the thrill of a great boys' choir in action. If angels exist, and if they sing, they probably sound something like a group of boys' voices -- seraphically pure; oddly otherworldly; half silver, half silk." --Robert Jones, in a New York Sunday News article, December 1977.
Our MissionThe Chicago Boy Choir dedicates itself:
About Boy Choirs:Throughout history, for over a thousand years, the unique sound of a boy's singing voice, properly trained, has appealed to composers, charmed audiences at concerts and inspired congregations during the sacred liturgy. Now a new boy choir, the Chicago Boy Choir, (Cantores Minores, Chicago), is forming to take its place in this same glorious tradition. Founder of this unique vocal ensemble is the Reverend Eugene Winkowski, presently Associate Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Chicago.
